Entrust and Windows Patches

A patch is now available that address problems relating to Entrust Digital Certificate software and the Windows platform.
- Windows Registry Fix is now available that addresses a problem for systems running Windows Vista that may have their sound disabled after the Entrust ESP client is installed. This is a registry patch that modifies registry values to allow sound to work correctly again.
Windows Vista registry fix instructions:
- Download MSCP.reg at https://ftp.siu.edu/eforms/MSCP.reg. A valid Network ID and password is required to download this file.
- Double click the MSCP.reg file to start the installation. You must be running with Administrator privileges to install this fix.
- When Windows Vista asks your permission to continue, click the continue button..
- Windows Vista will warn you that you are about to make changes to the registry; click the “yes” button to continue.
- Windows will confirm that the “keys and values” contained in the MSCP.reg file have been successfully added to the registry.
- Reboot your computer.
